Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

We pick you up 7:00 am to start the tour in Cusco. After 45 minutes by car, you reach Chinchero where the guide will show you the Inca temple, colonial churches and you will visit one of the local families to learn about weaving. Then you continue by car to Moray to know all about the circular terraces. We take you to the salt mines of Maras where you have time for explanation, pictures. The car will continue to Urubamba where you stop for a buffet lunch in the restaurant after you proceed to Ollantaytambo the last place to visit. Then you go to the train station to take a train to Aguas Calientes town for 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, we bring you to the hostel and later around 8:30 pm a guide for Machu Picchu will meet you at the hostel for the orientation for the next day.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

You need to get up very early to take the bus up to Machu Picchu in order to make there around 6 in the morning if you are lucky with the weather you can see the sunrise and also you can see Machu Picchu almost without people, once in Machu Picchu you have the guided tour for 2 hours then you have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. after visiting Machu Picchu you go back to Aguas Calientes to have lunch before to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from Ollantaytambo we are going to transfer you back to Cusco.
